Fees for the medical conditions accepted for hyperbaric treatment at the Jacobi Hyperbaric Chamber are covered by Medicare, Medicaid, and most commercial insurance, including many managed care plans.
Prior approval for payment by commercial insurance and managed care plans is required before hyperbaric treatments can begin. Our staff is experienced in working with referring physicians and health care plans to arrange for prior approval.
Financial counseling and income-scaled fees are available at Jacobi for uninsured patients or patients whose health care insurance does not cover hyperbaric therapy. Patients lacking insurance coverage may also qualify for coverage under several government-funded programs that our financial counselors can arrange.
